Stansfield Village Hall Management Committee has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate its commitment to privacy. In particular, we want you to know that we do not sell or trade email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this site, namely when and why we collect your personal information, how we use it, the limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure
How We Collect User Information
We only gather email addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail or those who volunteer this information. Other volunteered information collected are customers name, telephone number and address when taking bookings for hall hire.
The Kind of Data we hold about you
We hold email and/or contact telephone numbers, and address. These can be deleted or amended at any time (see below for further info).
How We Use Personal Data We Hold About you and Mailing lists
We regularly email our newsletter subscribers with event information or village news. With every newsletter you are able to unsubscribe. As part of the registration process for our newsletters, we collect personal information. This is your name and email address. We do not share email lists with other organisations and businesses. We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimps privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link on our emails.
Changing Your Personal Information
At any time you can access and amend any of your personal data that we hold. Please email us at friends@stansfieldvillage.org.uk and we will either add, delete or amend your personal information without delay.
Security of your Data
We take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect Personal Information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction, taking into account the risks involved in the processing and the nature of the Personal Information. We will endeavour to comply with GDPR in every way we can.

In the event of any personal data breach we will inform the affected individual(s) as soon as possible and take appropriate action to mitigate any possible adverse effects.
